2. Calgary Canoe Club
There is no better way to spend summer than on the water! Kids ages 9-12 can participate in two-week camp sessions with the Calgary Canoe Club, where they will learn the basics of recreational canoes, kayaks and dragon boats along with playing some dryland games. Camps are led by certified and passionate coaches who offer a fun and supportive environment. Camps wrap up with a fun racing regatta and if participants enjoyed the two-week camp they can join the racing team for the rest of the season. The Canoe Club offers a choice between camps for new paddlers and those more experienced. All camps are located at the Glenmore Reservoir, a 15-minute drive from Alpine Park.
