Storytime Scoops
It looks like our Stories and Scoops will be a Scorcher Stories and Scoops! With temperatures expected to reach the 30’s, we are going to move the Library Truck to in front of our Welcome Centre. This will give both our readers and our Calgary Public Library friends an opportunity to enjoy books and some chilled desserts in the comfort of a cooler space. We will have chairs and tables for the book reading should you like to give your eyes a rest while you enjoy your ice cream and listen to a story. For the sun-worshipping bookworms, we will also have our umbrellas set up on our tables in the park.
TLDR: HOT HOT HOT! The Library Truck and Ice Creams can be found at the Welcome Centre this Saturday from 1-4pm. Stay cool in our Alpine Park Welcome Centre while enjoying an ice cream and a book!

Bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets and bask in the sunshine while you turn the pages of your chosen story. At 2:30 PM, join us for a special book reading on the grass, where tales will come to life under the open sky.
